2 channel receiver

I am looking at the Lsi 9s and was originally going to have them as part of a home theater system. Feedback from this board convinced me to get a 2 channel receiver and maybe buy a separate home theater system. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions as to a 2 channel receiver under $800 that is reliable. I am guessing that this reveiver would not be available at circuit city or crutchfiled. I am very new at this. Listening to music was much more important than the theater sound system.

Used 200W per channel @ 8 ohm amp: $300-400

Killer combo for those LSi9's.

That, too. My Adcom 555+ Dodd ELP came out around $800.
