After 23 hours of labor, at 12:39am 3/5/06, we finally welcomed a beatiful little miracle into our family: Alyssa Noell Petersen. Measuring 19.5" and weighing in at 6lb 1oz, she's tall and skinny, and oh-so-cute! She has lots of long, medium-brown hair that the nurses have put a little curl in. Both mom and baby are very tired, but healthy and happy. She is our first child, and we are so blessed and proud to have her here!
If you want to see her, I made a little photo gallery here.

-Austin

p.s. I know it's been a while. I got really busy with school and work, and just got out of the habit of checking in. I'll try to be better.

nah, a few weeks from now when she's sleeping for multiple hours at once, you'll be thankful for the times she sleeps, cause then you can sleep too :D

this is from observation of my dad & stepmom, twice - they learned to sleep when baby does the hard way :p

This reminds me of when my dauther was a baby :p. I would do that exact thing, while also listening to music. Now anytime we go anywhere she wants to hear music. She listens to it here at home all the time. She loves to sing as well. My advice is to try to enjoy all the moments you have with her, as stated above, time flies.

Don't worry about it. I enjoyed reading your posts when you were active, and I've missed your presence, but as long as you have a young family and your education to take care of, CP doesn't even make the list of priorities, much less come close to being on top.

LOL! Man, that thread was funny....or was that the Random Thread? It's so long now, I've forgotten what's even in it.

But I thought he preferred some sort of an axe, to a maglite. :p

It's a 256 MB card, and I have an extra 32MB that came with it. I transfer them to my computer frequently, so I never run out of room. I can hold something like 200 pics at a time, so it's never really a worry.
