For a concept car, I think this Saab looks pretty slick.

These are pretty ridiculous, though....

i've always liked Saab. Very good, underrated cars.

That is until GM took them over.
Anything they touch is a plague waiting to happen.

Ugh. I know a few people (surprisingly many, honestly) who've owned Saabs and they've been nothing but trouble, even before Ford (or GM) took them over. I borrowed one once (and it overheated, BTW) and it wasn't even THAT great to drive, so I have no idea what their platform is, aside from "yuppies seem to like us."
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I own a 92 Saab 9000 CD with the dreaded traction control and it has been a great car. 117,000 miles and still going strong. I visit saabnet bb for any problems and most of it is pretty simple stuff and I'm anything but a yuppie

The yuppie comment was notwithstanding the wonderful members of this board, of course. Just generally... they seem to like them :)

I would agree with you, Bobman. I find that lots of Doctors drive them. That was at least the case about 10 years ago. BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Jaguar seem to be the cars of choice for people with bank these days.

I find this car really slick though, and would love it just based on it's looks.

I've always liked their styling, but they are long overdue for some major updating. Also as stated earlier...they are not a very good drive. After all you can't expect to go up against the likes of Jag, BMW, and MB with a front drive car.
