the end is my favorite, if web sites dont enforce the law in regards to having legal names and addresses of all who post on a website, they will be responsible for lawsuits. Well, so much for that free speech crapola. hope this doesnt pass

Its a very dangerous time in our country. Personal freedoms are under heavy scrutiny by government. In the end its mostly about the Almighty Dollar.

That's why it got mentioned in the same sentence as China.

Being a gun nut, there's nothing that NJ, MD, NY, CA, and DC (at the city level) could do to surprise me. The same people that sponsor legislation like this are a the same ones that want to take your guns away irregardless of what bufoons like the ACLU says.

Driving through VA is the worst. State troopers with nothing better to do than pull you over for having a radar detector.

Another proud piece of NJ initiated legislation....another one of our elected scummers is pushing for broadcast flags for digital/HD radio to prevent recording of the material among other intrusive pieces.

I hate NJ....ten more years and I can afford to leave.

The bill was introduced by a Republican. Maybe he was a hippy Republican?

Incidentally, there are two main reasons that have been cited for why this bill will die:
    1)It's stupid
2)Both the committee and the New Jersey State Assembly are controlled by democrats.

Appologies to Justin for the political fact-check.

There are no Republicans anymore, there are militant Christian whackos hiding out in the party HQ, but no true Republicans...they died long ago it seems.

The only hope is that a viable Libertarian surfaces as their platform is what the Republicans were supposed to stand for until they turned. Chances of that are almost nil however.

kingsqueak- that's a little too explicitly political, you might want to tone it back a bit before the thread gets locked.
