SVS weakening? Is this possible?

My sub had done me good .........SUPERB PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!
However I played a demo last night and it was awful! :(
Checked all the parameters...........all good, untouched........THE SAME!

Wondering...........my SVS gone bad?...It's only 2 years old.........IT COULDN't be......

    Entirely possible... Have you chacked the levels out of the receiver? Has some sort of bass managment been engaged (Midnight mode?)
