My sister-in-law is having back surgery tomorrow to fuse two vertebrae in her spine. She has been plagued by back problems for the last several years. She has had several cysts removed from between her vertebrae, but her problems continue. At age 42, she has been a very physical person. She works out at the gym, has gone back packing in the Andes and Himalayas. Her problems are not life threatening, but is serious lifestyle threatening. She has not been able to work and has been living with extreme pain. Please join me in praying for a successful procedure and a return to a pain free normal lifestyle. Thank you!
Carl

    You have my prayers.

My father had an operation several years ago (he was right around 42 at the time I suppose) on his lower neck/upper back and he has felt better ever since. Now, I doubt he is as active as your sister in law but, he is an avid golfer and he does go hiking/backpacking/biking every now and then so, I feel it is safe to say the surgery did not slow him down.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
