Jvc Tv

Hey. I have a widescreen 30" JVC tv, nothing fancy, but whenever I watch movies, the black bars on the top and bottom look crooked. I can't seem to find a way to adjust this, it's almost like my entire pictures slants a 1/4 inch from right to left.

Anyone ever had that problem? Is there a fix?

Let me know what you think.

    same problem here.
    i got a 6year old 36" JVC d series model.

slants ever so slightly but noticeable on the upper left side and bottom right. It's slight with 2:35.1 material and especially noticeable at 1:85.1 film stock. I just ignore it.

It's a good TV for my needs.

This would most likely have to be fixed through the geometry settings in the service menu. You may be able to find information on how to do this yourself, but use caution in doing so, as there are often items in a service menu that you don't want to mess up.

To be on the safe side you may want to get a technician to do this.
