See, I liked the first one better.

The second sounded great and looked pretty good, but I didn't like the over the top comic book 'stunts'. Driving, straddling an alleyway.....pushed things too far for me.

I thought the story of the 2nd might have been a bit better, but some of the stunts were just waaaay too over the top. And I liked the chick in the first one better too.

The second one was good if you can overlook the "yeah right" factor and accept it for what it is.

The first one was my favorite tho. The first 30 minutes of the movie were awesome! But after he gets back to his crib with the chick things start slowing down a bit and got really tired by the ending.

Still, Im a big Statham fan and proudly own the first and will own the second. Not because theyre oscar worthy pictures but because theyre kick **** action films.

First one was almost believeable, so I could almost get into it. The second one could of had a rabbit being chased by a girl down a bunny hole and wouldn't had been less believeable.

Both are nice movies to watch alone with a beer and a pizza. Kind of like watching a football game where the referees call all the right calls. Kind of a stretch of the imagination, but still good entertainment.

The second one reminded me of "Triple X".

I got far enough into **** to see a motocross bike revving up, cut scene, see a 40' high security fence, cut scene, see the motocross bike magically jumping the fence with no ramp in sight or explanation. I had to turn it off at that point. A-Team level 'effects', too far gone for me.

Gotta agree with most everyone here - the first one is a great fun action flick, the second one is just stupid nonsense. Watchable, but barely.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
