Bulldog-Proof Speakers

Hi Guys,
Is there any way to protect your speakers and wires from a bulldog? I keep my center channel beneath our tv and it becomes a target. Our dog is 10 months old and is a mobile battering ram. He cannot feel pain, he cannot be reasoned with.

Get a metal child gate and wall off your speakers (and TV) with it.

I use baby gates and the previously mentioned wire fence to keep my dogs anywhere I do not want them.
After this phase passes he should be reasonable.

    cute lil pup.

While it might do you some good beating a bulldog doesn't work. One, they are all but impervious to pain. Two, they very willful and will generally find a way to retaliate.

I'm not saying they aren't trainable, they are, but beating them doesn't work.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the advice. I guess this thread can also be called "how to childproof a speaker". I would never beat my dog, lol. He is stubborn and a flying brick. But still a puppy. Can't let out him outside, live in S. FL and it is too hot for him.

The center channel is a B&W CDMCNT, 30lbs and way too big for the top of the tv. I usually keep the dog in a room of his own with a baby gate, but as he gets bigger we intend to let him have part of the house to roam.

Ironically, last night he started to chew on the leg of my surround speaker stands. Then I heard a noise like marbles hitting the floor and the bully backed away in uncertanty.
He pulled the cap off the stand and the lead shot started to spill out. Perhaps he is telling me to upgrade the rears.

Anybody have any Bose cubes I can let him play with?
