Opinions on the Samsung HL-R5067W...

Yep, I'm on the hidef prowl again. At first I was looking pretty seriously at the Toshiba's, put they have been having some issues with extremely short lamp life (DLP) and then no lamps in stock.

Anybody own or know of the Samsung 5067W, 50" DLP....? What's your opinion of it? Talk slowly, I'm a video idiot.

    With most TV's moving to 1080p displays and 3-chip DLP right around the corner, I'd do one of 2 things.

    Buy a Plasma from the likes of Pioneer or Panasonic OR an SXRD from Sony

    or

    I'd wait for 3 chip DLP. 1.5 years away.

    Seriously, what about the JVC HD-ILLA hybrid system? I know you don't like their CS, but I'm just wondering about the TV itself.
