Harman Kardon has just made me a very happy customer

As some of you know, I had been having problems with my old Panasonic DVD CP72 skipping on some dvd's. Well, the other day I noticed my new Denon doing the same thing, and I quiclky realized it was only on DTS soundtracks. Dolby Digital didn't have the problem. I never put that together before. The dvd player wasn't at fault, nor were any of my cables. It was my HK AVR-430. I've been talking James Pagano from Harman via email the past couple of days about this, and instead of having me go through the hassle of sending it off for service, he's simply going to let me exchange it for a brand new unit. How cool is that?! To me, that's clearly going above and beyond the call of duty and shows that they know how to take care of their customers. I know I'll be one of theirs now for a long time to come. :)

    Glad to hear of the outcome. HK does have excellent customer service and they will do whatever it takes to make a customer happy.

    Are you getting a new 430 or 435?

    That would be sweet. When you get the tracking number, check the weight of the package....I hope it says 65lbs:D :D
