And you would think we slid off into the ocean.
I have had the news on this am. and the only thing they are talking about is the rain. Excuse me the storm.
Our news chanels are freaking out and taking all the viewers with them.
They are telling us if it starts to rain too hard we should just pull over and not try to get to a safe place to stop.
There is some hail on the ground somewhere and already they have found a dip-**** that crashed because of it.

Seriously we had a small tornado warning that ended over an hour ago and the news has been talking about our "storm" all morning.

Effin rediculous.

When I woke up it was eight degrees.

I wish it were warm enough to rain.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I just think it is crazy how the media hypes the rain.

They were trying so hard to make it the BIG story.
It's friggen rain and a tornado warning.
I gues stornados are not real common here but to dedicate a couple of hours to the weather is rediculous.

They sound like the Baltimore area news people when there is a chance of snow. EVERYTHING is thrown aside to bring us "the latest on this possible developing weather system that might threaten the area!"

A few flakes fall and it's the end of the world!

ROFLMAO!!!! It's so true! What a bunch of wimps! All of us snow states need to send our old snow removal equipment down to DC & MD so that everything doesn't come to a screeching halt everytime a drop of snow falls!

    WAAAAAA!!!:D

It's not the equipment or the folks using it, it's the idiots that live and die by the weather reports.

The problem out here in Southern Cal is that the drivers (generally speaking) are too impatient and self-centered. There's no 'give' to them. They're all late and in a hurry, everyone else out there is in their way and they follow right on the next guys ****. One to two car lengths at 70-85 mph is extremely common. And the rain takes them by surprise so they can't leave earlier to compensate for the slow down so they drive exactly the same when it's raining. I try and teach my daughter to think about what would happen if the car in front of her would all of a sudden have to lay on the brakes as hard as they could. Would you have time to stop? Most people out here drive as if nothing could ever go wrong in front of them. That's like putting your life on the line just on faith that no one in front of you is ever going to do something stupid or nothing out of the ordinary could possibly happen. **** happens all the time. Ladders or mattresses fall of trucks or traffic slow unexpectedly and someone isn't paying attention. These people are freakin' IDIOTS!!! 99% of the accidents out here are rear ends. These drivers are the absolute worst in the entire freakin' world. Add a little rain and you've got a cluster f$% to the nth degree. I can't wait to get out of here. This place is the blow hole of the entire Earth.

While I agree with a lot of what you said Dragon I can never leave. I love this place too much to go anywhere else. Besides, you cannot move away from idiots, there everywhere.

    LOL! My sentiments exactly :D
    For example:
San Diego County = 6.5 out of every 10
Oregon Coast (where I plan to move) = 1 out of every 1000

They have signs every half mile...

    "Fender Bender? Call Here"

That dosnt even describe the amount of moronic driving that dwells in that area...

    Never seen aything like it...
