The New Deal!!

I took a listen to one of my brothers CD's, the New Deal. If you have a chance to listen to them do it! What a great band. The music is Techno however actuall musicians perform the songs. Granted much of the music involves a sequencer, it still is very musical. I have always apriciated Techno for the clarity and simplistic style. I would say that this album is a mix of intelligent, acid jazz, funk and break beat. Check it out if you have the opportunity.

    I got a promo copy of it a few months back, and I agree it's great. I was weary at first because the other stuff it came with was crap.. but I was delighfully suprised when I listened to it.

    Keep an eye out, they are touring right now.
