I know these come up for sale once or twice a year, but they would still be interesting in a surround system.

SDA surrounds:

Around 1990, I had a chance to buy a brand new pair of those for $50, from a husband and wife run stereo shop up near Portsmouth, NH. They were getting a divorce and the store was going down the tubes. I elected to buy a Parasound sub instead.

So wait, is this SDA on the cheap? Or is it like a very simplified version?

with one driver and one tweeter, it is not SDA on the cheap. it is some kind of "effect" circuit in the speaker.

That is what I was thinking. Still, they are only 20$ - I can actually afford something for once :D

I just placed a bid, nothing much, just something to keep an eye on it, let me know if your really wanting them, and I will back out.

Or anyone else, I don't have to have them, just thought it was kind of cool.

Naw, don't worry about it. I have no use and really can't spare 20$ now anyway.

I don't think I have ever seen those before. Kind cool.

Is it safe to assume the bypass setting is so they can be used as regular bookshelf speakers?
