Which would you guys prefer? What is the real difference between the boxed subs and the cylinders? Thanks!

Depends on your room, the PB10 is an excellent performer. If you need a little more the all the cylinders deliver either more output or a bit more extention. In a sealed 19x14x8 room the PB10 was awesome. The cylinders are a step up, but you may not need it.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Box subs are a little more traditional looking, and in some cases have a higher WAF. However the cylinder subs, as far as the pb-10 goes, are a step up sound quality wise IMO.
