My roofers are still working on my house since Hurricane Wilma (it has been backed up down here). Well, yesterday they just got to the flat roof part where my HT is and it rained last night. I woke up this morning and there was a puddle of water on the floor and a tell tale sign of its origin from my back left, in-ceiling speaker.

After much cussing I removed the speaker and thankfully it seems dry BUT I had to laugh when I saw that the guy who put 'em up there for me wired them backwards  . I will have to take the other one out now and see if its wired correctly. Good help is so hard to find.

Bummer man! All that nice equipment. Water. Not a good combination. I bet that system rocks though!

Thanks! I actually have to update a lot of equipment on the HT link. I got a lot of new stuff:)

The leak does not appear to be too bad. I see some of the insulation is wet on the bottom where the paper is but it appears to have trickled in. I left my roofer a really 'nice' message.;)

Thanks Cathy. I took plenty of pics though..you never know. It's just so frustrating when I have put so much work into this room and a bunch of buttheads can't do their job right. But on the bright side, the other rear was wired correctly so at least when the leaky one goes back up it will be wired correctly too..I always thought it sounded a little funky!:D
