Has anyone seen this yet. I wathced it last night and thought it was pretty good. It reminded me of American Beauty. What say ye?:p

    Definitely American Beauty-like. Not quite as good. I feel like they could have done a little more with it, but I can't put my finger on what was missing.

    Just watched this yesteday. Good movie. It was definitely American Beauty-esque but I thought it lacked a bit of Beauty's humor. Still, it was well done. I particularly liked the use of one of my favorite pieces of music..."Ricky's Theme" (by The Beastie Boys) during the scene where Nic Cage is in the cab with his Dad. I have been hearing more and more use of The Beasties trippy lounge music from their "The In Sound from Way Out" CD in movies and as intro music on radio shows (NPR for one uses them alot).

    Thoroughly enjoyed it. A fine all around film.

    I didn't find anything interesting about the movie. I also felt the camel toe references for a little girl were overblown and inappropriate.
