I saw this movie a few nights ago.

I thought it was a good movie. It was a little more childish humor, so it's definatly something you can watch with the kids.

It is the same thing as jumanji in space. So if you liked jumanji then you might like this one.

Also, I couldn't turn it up too loud b/c of wallmates but I could easily tell that there was plenty of LFE for many of the scenes as well as a decent amount of surround effects.

It is 5.1 DD, no DTS.

Picture quality definatly wasn't the greatest thing. I got distracted by the grainess, but i got involved in the movie so that didn't matter.

6.5/10

Im a big fan of Kristen Stewart...

Far from her best role...was kind of dissapointed...but overall an ok movie.

4 outta 10. Cool plot, but just terrible acting and EXTREMELY bad picture throughout. jumanji was way better IMO.

Worth a once see, if you are extremely bored, and have kids! :)

Haven't seen this yet but it looks identical to Jumanji and is even created by the same people. How is it that Hollywood has got so low on ideas?

The movie is based on a book wrote by the same author that wrote Jumanji.

Thats why they are so similar. But yes, it sucked - the acting was terrible, even from Stewart - lame role all the way. It wasnt as exciting as Jumanji either, not enough stuff happened - **** robots and stupid lizards...bleh

One of my top ten movies is the Station Agent, LOVE that movie. She's also good in The Upside of Anger. You're right, she's awesome.

No I wasn't...never heard of it actually. I simply meant Zathura was not a great movie, but not a complete waste either.

My 9year old daughter had a sleepover for her b/day with 9 kids. I bought the movie for them, turned it on went upstairs. Next thing you know they all came up screaming and crying about the sound comming from everywhere, they were scared when the meteor shower and robot came on! They really thought they were under attack, my daughter could not stop them, screaming and crying and refused to go back downstairs. They could not understand why I was happy about it but I considered that a great complement to my home theatre I built.
