One Area Of Canada Left

I arrived in Whitehorse today (Yukon Territory) for the first time and that only leaves one area of Canada that I yet to touch, that being Nunavut in the northern eastern part of Canada. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to travel to every province and territory in Canada (except Nunavut). I have been very fortunate to see so much of this great country for free. The mountains are just gorgeous in this part of the country. Hopefully I will have the chance to visit the last segment this year or next. Just my little excitement for the week. Have a good one everyone.

Always good to see new places.

Gorgeous area Michael. I hiked the Chilkoot trail several years back. Has it begun to thaw yet?

There's a good authentic Mexican restaurant off the beaten track in Whitehorse. If it's still there, it'd be worth hunting down. No audio place that I can remember though...

No thaw yet, it actually snowed today. The only audio place I know of here is Audiotronics. Thanks for the food tip Dave.

The Yukon is nice. Have you had the chance to make it over here to Alaska? Best state in the union and the biggest, with very few people. I highly recommend it!

Cool! It's suppose to be Heritage Day up there in the Yukon tommorow. Lots of cool history up there.

Skagway isn't too far and there won't be any criuse ship traffic for a while. ;) A lot of places might be in hiberation until the ships return though.

I think I've convinced my better half to take a cruise up to Alaska for our tenth. Should be fun even with the rug rats biting my ankles throughout the cruise. :D

That's too bad. Hope your wife recovers soon. It's depressing being sick.

I have atached a few pics of what I could snap in Whiotehorse. I had to borrow a colleagues camera and never really had a lot of free time. Oh well.

Actually there was an air show on the weekend and with a population of 20K and let's say the demographics indicate the potential air assault victim or, aerial enthusiast, rate at a meager 1%, that’s 200 to go around for the weekend. Tough job!

Besides, the air space in northern Canada is heavily patrolled.
