Just figured I'd post some praise in regards to Polk audio. About two weeks ago I sent out a c300.2 amplifier for repair and today I received my amplifier back no hassle in mint condition perfectly packaged with all new hardware. I have had problems with many high end companies and from now on I will be a Polk promoter and runner for life. This company know's how to treat there customer's and know's how to make us happy.. Keep up the good work guys.

Polk runner for life,

ah, polkfest... that's where a ton of people from this forum go down to polk's headquarters in baltimore, and we hang out, meet each other in person, listen to an enormous number of cool things (some of which we couldn't tell anyone about for a while!), meet Mr. Polk, and generally have a really really good reason to skip classes on a friday!

Polkfest was the coolest thing Ive ever experienced!

The best part of the trip was the VIP treatment that we got in spades. Here is one of the largest companies in the world interupting an entire day to play host and tour guide to a bunch of audio geeks. And when I say VIP I mean it! VP's were giving us tours and demos, not some lowly janitor or secretary. They had a huge lunch catered to us that cost a ton. I even had the VP of marketing run their latest slogan by me for my opinion!! ME!!! I drive a beer truck! I couldnt believe a marketing VP wanted my opinion on an idea! Matt Polk himself coming in and answering questions from us and giving us a head up on some upcoming products.

Then there was the demos! Oh my Gawd! I never knew music could sound so good! I never realized how much I was missing! It opened my eyes in a big way to high fidelity and it made me want to strive even harder to achieve that in my truck system.

The downside tho was Josh and Thom werent there and I was looking forward to meeting them and seeing the unreal Polk Civic (still my favorite demo car).

All I can say is it was the coolest thing Ive ever been a part of and its made me a diehard, lifelong and loyal Polkster!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! So are some people hosting a "Polkfest" in their own homes at times? I get that feeling according to some of the posts I've read.

Yeah, about once a year. Its mainly a home audio thing tho. Neo, Jstas and myself were the only 12V guys that made it to Polkfest last year.

Still, even if it is all home audio, you get the chance to hear some stellar equipment and experience true high fidelity, something that is overlooked far too often in car audio.
