Is anyone having problems with Microsoft Antispyware?

I've heard on here that it's not very good but I installed it a long time ago and now after it runs, it leaves a program called GIANTANTISPYWAREUPDATER running which slows my computer down to a crawl so bad that I have to end the process. Then everything speeds back up. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

Try uninstalling it and grab the new one called Defender (beta 2). No problem with this one as of now. No GIANTANTISPYWAREUPDATER process running either.

This may have been one of the fixes.

I could just never bring myself to trust Microsoft's Spyware program. Adaware and Spybot have served me well enough, and using Firefox and common sense I never get anything anymore, anyways.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
