I just caught Sin City & Constantine on cable this weekend (HD of course).

I have mixed reviews on Constintine. It was almost a good story, but something was missing. It was almost a little confusing The effects were good, but it was like they told Keanu Reeves to act more like Keanu Reeves.

Sin City was much better. I loved the Pulp Fiction & film noir aspect of it, but I was excpecting a little more story. I didn't think it would be nearly that brutal (don't know the writtings). The cinamatography was fantastic though. It's worth watching just for the visual aspect.

But I may have to re-watch both to see if either are a keeper (but sin city will probably be bought soon).

They released an updated version of Sin City on DVD, it would be worth picking up the new addition. I realzie it came out not all that long ago, but it's one of those double dippers.

I liked Sin City a lot. Its SO hard nowadays to find anything different and unique in movies. Kinda reminds you that film can be art and not just entertainment.
