Speaker question (inwall and inceiling)

Hello

I'm looking at putting in a polk system and need some advice and help. I have a 16x22 room with a projector aimed at the 16' wall, and seating about 4' from the back wall. There is no right wall because this is 1/2 of a family room.

I've read comments from many people on this board that the LSI's should not be placed near a wall, and I really don't want to use stands, so I'm looking at the following configuration:

LF,RF - LC265i
C LSiC
Surrounds LC80i (inceiling)
Rears - LC65i or LC60i (inwall or inceiling)

I have a limitation with the surrounds, because there is piping in the ceiling. From what I've read on the board, the surrounds should be a few feet away to the side and behind the prime listening location. Because of the piping, I have to put the right surround directly above the far right seating location, or at least about 8' away. Where should these surrounds be if they are in the ceiling. Is the 8' ok, or is it too far away because of the 15 degree throw of the LC80i? I also have the option of wall mounting, but would prefer the ceiling because I currently have the ceiling open, and it's easy to get in there.

Any comments or suggestions on this setup?
