Newbie in need of advice to up bass

Recently bought a rig off of another polkie and it generally is great. RT20p, cs1000p, and fx1000. However, I still find I need more bass. I just have the RT20p hooked up as front right and left. I don't have a sub so I was thinking of y ing the LFE output from my HK335 and send all sub directly to those imputs on the rt20p speakers. Alternatively, about all I can afford right now would be about 200-300 for a used sub. I saw the cadence had good reviews new, as well. I just use for HT and want the walls to shake. If I am just dreaming to spend that money to get a good sub, then let me know that, as well. Thanks.
