II's got my vote- but both are great.

Estranged on II is my favorite cut- it's much like November Rain on I

The only song I really remember off of Use Your Illusion was November Rain.

Honestly, I'd listen to both on acontinuous loop over that new single they put out. God awful
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    I voted II.

I like their cover of "Knockin of Heaven's Door."

G N' R fan here, keep on looking around the corner....I have a feeling that AXL is finally going to be releasing Chinese Democracy V. 10.2, this album has gone through so many revisions, I wonder what is left on it from when it was first recorded (97?)

AXL's time has come and gone......he's a has been. The best, and I use that word lightly, was Appetite For Destruction. G-N-R had it's day, perhaps it's week, but they flamed out and their legacy will be there, but for me they are way... way down the list.

in retrospect, I agree. But i can't help but think that November Rain, Don't Cry and especially 'eEstranged' (the original intended video trilogy) are some of the best examples of power ballads i've ever heard.

I always enjoy listening to some songs by G-N-R, but they were never in my heavy rotation. Mostly just get an urge to dig some out now and then, mostly then however. Lots and Lots of great power ballads out there, so in the grand scheme, the songs you mentioned get lost with many other very good ballads. Just recently pulled out Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue. Not a huge Crue fan but still enjoy them once in awhile.

home sweet home was another good one.
basically i'm just re-living my days from jr. high.

back then it was guns n'roses, motley crue, def leppard, and great white. Metallical never did much for me.

All the bands with the exception of Great White I used to listen too, for me it was high school. For me their very first albums were their best. Of course this doesn't include all the classic rock bands I listened to, just speaking of these 4 bands.

    G-N-R- Appetite for Destruction
Motley- Too fast For Love & (Hon. Men.) Shout At The Devil
Def Leppard- On Thru The Night
Metallica- Kill Em All & Ride The Lightening

Those are the ones worth listening too again, IMO ;)

could not say it better myself
I thought it was fairly amusing also. The Polk Ogre doesn't always get 'it'
