4ohm figures for Harman Kardon receivers don't exist b/c they're not designed to support 4ohm speakers.

However, that receiver would do a much better job than most out there.

Hey Thanks , B&K are rated for 4 ohms right the 507 S2 will push 185 watts into 4 ohms does anyone know if this is accurate.

    They do, just aren't rated.

They won't post a rating for 4 Ohm loads because they don't want people running (7) 4Ohm speakers, frying the output devices and sending them back for warranty work. It will drive 4 Ohm quite well in Stereo when the Amp config is in 2ch. It will drive them passably well in a 5.1 setup, but I wouldn't use (5) 4Ohm speakers. At most I would drive 3. I am currently driving 2 with the HK630. I will be adding a third -LSiC, and I'll be crossing my fingers.
I had read a review from a reputable mag that the HK6xx rated at 75 watts @8Ohm would actually drive 126 watts at bandwidth at 1%THD and 135 at audible clipping. I don't recall the measuring parameters, but owning it, I tend to think that it's closer to 100 than 75, and driving a 4 Ohm it should be in the 150 range. Sounds great in 2ch, but I will be using those preamp outs when I can afford a complement of Parasounds or higher.
