Or am I the only redneck here?! :p

Boy Im glad NASCAR is back and what a great way to start off the season! Johnson wins, and Tony's knocking people out of the race! At first I hated Stewart because he has an attitude but lately Im liking him more and more because he's the only one thats not all super sweet and non offensive. Him and Waltrip are about the only ones that dont mind telling ya what they think.

i did. i'm a big Lowes guy so it was good to see Johnson win. Good to see a capitalistic rivalry that's transcended into the sporting world between two athletes. By that I mean Home Depot vs. Lowes.

By accident, it came on after the Sweden - USA game. I switched back to Olympic channel before the race started. Petrym, there is a WRC race in Mexico next month if you're interested in WRC.

Hell yeah! Thats what I like about him now. NASCAR is so worried about not being offensive to everyone and wanting to appeal to the masses and I can understand that but theve made it so clean cut and sugar coated its almost too sweet to watch some of the interviews. They should let them be themselves.

Yeah, Matt Kenseth is a hometown boy, and we have a lot of people who end up involved with NASCAR in one way or another from up here. It's still a big deal to go up to the speedway on the weekends and watch races with the locals. I just never got into it. I would rather be doing the driving than watching it, kind of like Golf.

Fun race. Tony is learning to be more diplomatic. We'll see how long it lasts. Stevinaz came up. NASCAR on HD is FUN!!!

NASCAR sure isn't what it used to be. With all the BS rules and EXCESSIVE advertising it's becoming difficult to watch. :(

Stewart is an **** - never could stand him.. Johnson has been one of my favorite drivers for a while now. Funny though because I'm actually a Home Depot person - just typically find what I need there easier - funny how I don't let some guys driving around in circles influence where I buy tools and such...

The race was descent, don't care all that much for the plate tracks. Stewart fan myself, he's lucky he finished where he did given all he went through. My fantasy league team didn't fare too well though.

Luck, and a heck of a lot of skill ;)

Jimmie Johnson is a great driver, and the deal he made with Satan will ensure he has a long succesful carreer LOL :p

In past years I have hated Stewart honestly wishing they would kick him out of cup racing. But anymore he and Michael Waltrip are about the only guys worth watching. You can almost always count on some funny comments out of Waltrip. And you have to admit that the early save Tony had was outright amazing.

I love racing (not as much as I used to, but still enjoy it all). I'm a Johnson fan as well. Glad he won. And Tony annoys me more and more. A week of bitching about bump drafting, and he's the one trying to take people out of the race.

As far as Waltrip's funny comments, the best was after he won the rain shortened 500 a couple of years ago when he commented about the rain "I don't think the heavy stuff's goina come down for awhile now". (I hope everyone knows where that's from).

I like all the drivers but enjoy watching Gordan get beat up...

I never watch Nascar (prefer real racing like F1 :)), but saw the highlights on Sportscenter. Stewart is full of BS about not seeing the car he clipped. Absolute BS. He deserved to get run off the road after coming out of the pit. All this after all that complaining about bump drafting... BS I say!

As far as I know, Tony never said he didnt see Kenseth, just that Kenseth got him sideways first. "Matt started it and I ended it."

I hate stewart plain and simple his personality is sour as a damn green apple.

But without a shadow of a doubt his the best driver on track by far right now.

He could start in last place ever week but he will be contending for the win by the end of the race you can't beat that.
