I just bought a SVS 25-31 pci to replace a Velodyne CHT-8

Since I still have the Velo, can I pair them together or would that be dumb?

Overkill actually. You probably wouldn't like the results too much. I'd be concerned about cancellation creating a huge null in the lower end.

When you mix two subs, and one is the lesser (much lesser) of the two, it will be cutting out at a lower volume AND it wont be hitting as much.

So you would get reinforcement above the lesser subs cut off point, but it wouldnt be much especially since the SVS could make the Velo hop out of the room.

    Congrats on the SV.

It will have a 15" port (I think) instead of a 13" port)...

    If I remember correctly.

They just confirmed in an email that I did, indeed, get the 22 hz tune...

    cool!

They said unless I take the sub apart and measure the port, it doesn't look any different...
