jolida JD100A tube cd player

The guy that I purchased some gear from here today said that his boss has a Jolida JD100A tube cd player that he is willing to part with for 600 us. I have no experience with any tube gear. I didn't even know you could get a tube cd player. I need feedback on this. Good product? High maintenance? For 600 is it a good buy?

    Buy it, check the tubes and if they are the original Chinese tubes, change them right away, add a nice aftermarket power cord and you'll be a very happy guy.

    To follow up the cd player is a dealer demo that he has had since 8/2005 and I would get a full warranty.

    Full warranty for $600?? What are you waiting for? If you don't buy it, hook me up and I'll buy it......wouldn't mind having a second JD100 for my non SDA rig :eek: :eek: :eek:

    Also I got that price from a third party. The person that has the cd player has not gotten back to me yet. Also I am Canadian. Shipping is more, pay duty, as well as 7 or 14% tax. (exchange). End cost would be around 1k Canadian for me. I need to find a Canadian price locally (if available) first.
