Yep they finally caught on and noticed people were modding and selling them. The super-t amp (by sonic impact) develops further on it's sucessful little brother that made waves a while back. It starts out by coming in a nice brushed aluminum enclosure and offers actual rca inputs and binding posts that also accept nanners, all for $140. From what I've read in reviews it is a big step up from the original, with tighter bass and smoother, cleaner highs.

To me, it's not exactly the t-amp anymore. I liked the original because it was the perfect amp for any place you wanted decent sound but low costs. It handled my lsi's just fine, really showing what you can do with a low budget and a couple watts (excluding the speaker cost). At $30 it provided a groundbreaking bang for buck ratio and set a nice platform for those looking to mod it without shooting themselves if they messed up something. With the new one making its debut with a price tag of $140 I'm inclined to say it's falling into the entry level receiver price. I love the thing but I can think of better ways to spend $140 (eg. nice used amp?).
