I just noticed that AudioAdvisor has a demo ASL MG Head DT/OTL MKIII headphone amp on sale for $270. Retail is $400. Man, I wish I were closer to being 'done' with my 2-channel rig so I could snag this and start with headphones.

It's a steal and really nice for a headphone rig. <300 w/ a 2 chassis design, tubes and dual outputs?
If you like headphones, and wondered about tubes, it should be a kick in the **** for you.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
I sure don't need it, but it sure is tempting.

Wow! That is a good deal. I think I hear my Senns crying."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson
