Earthquake cinenova Grande 5

I returned and got rid of some gear that I was not happy with and am really interested in getting the Earthquake cinenova Grande 5 and probably an Outlaw 990 pre pro. The Earthquake is selling at brand electronics.com for under 2400.00 (your money). However, I know that I would not have any manufacturer warranty. I looked into it up here (Canada) and it is 6K plus a minimum of 14 % tax (ain't sales tax great-whole other issue though) for this amp. I would probably save approx. 3k Canadian going this route. Amps and receivers are so much more expensive up here. Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with them. I know Kmartin has had some favourable experience. Anybody else?

Within the last couple of months, wingnut4772 picked one of these up. She has already had to use the customer service, so it may be worth the extra $ to get one with a full warrany.

Well if the amp is half the price at Brand Electronics, what good is a warranty? You can still have it repaired, and $3K should easily cover it.

I highly recommend this amp. It sounds terrific and the CS is stellar!!! Definitely buy from an authorized dealer only. I got mine for less than that (much) brand spankin' new with a full warranty. PM me for details if you are interested in the dealer.
