Finally quit searching and ordered my new home theater setup. I chose the Onkyo 703, RTi8's for the fronts, FXi3's for the rears and the CSi5 for the center. :D

Onkyo TX-NR709 A/V Receiver
Polk RTi8's Front
In-Walls for Rears
CSi5 Center
SVS 20-39PCI Subwoofer

    Great. You're gonna love it.

What sub did you decide on?
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

The sub will probably be a SVS or Velodyne. May have to wait a month before I can get it. I have one now that I will use for the time being. It is a Sony (I know), but it will have to do for a little while.
Will it make any difference if the FXi3 is mounted higher thatn 6'?

Is $350 a good price for a DPS-12 Velodyne Sub?

Forget about the low end Velos. They are not in the same league as Hsu or SVS.

Yes, that's a good price...check out this review from a guy who just picked one up...pretty decent job.

As the others mentioned, if you can stretch it another $120 bucks, the PB10 is in another class.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE
