This turntable is the one that I've been thinking about buying locally. Any opinions on it and what is worth knowing it will need a new cart and belt?
From what I can tell, this is nearly the same as the T60C, but the 60 has a slightly heavier platter.
I know there are a lot of TTs out there, but for some reason I like this one. Its local for one, and I like the floating suspension design and the optical sensor for auto lift at the end.

For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Bill,
I have a Technics DD turntable QD-1 or somesuch....FANTASTIC shape. The only thing it lacks is a headshell (about 10 bucks to replace). I have an Ortofon OM-10 cart with lots of life left in it that should work nicely.
If this interests you, I'll let you have it nearly free of charge. I'd only ask a small donation, 25 bucks or so to:
The Githens Center for the Handicapped
40 Cedar Street
Mt. Holly, NJ 08060
If interested....lemme know.
