I've had the MMC6500 for awile running off my crappy Sony h/u(came with the car) for close to four months. I finally upgraded I really wanted to go with the c400.4, but I only had $1,000 to spend. This is what I ended up getting.

Kicker amp for $175

Kicker Cvr-10

And a Diesel Audio amp to power the sub.

Don't care too much about the sub...it sounds really good even with the cheap amp, I want to know what u guys think about the kicker amp...I have two alpine 6x9's its hooked up to as well. I have the fader just to the fronts, and want to know if I should bi-amp the mmc6500's.

I am new to this, how do you bi-amp them? Can I do it by just changing the connections from the amp or do I need to run wires to the crossovers? I paid $100 for Fry's to install it.
Setup:

2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

i think kicker is a fine amp... biamping is when you use the HU or amp xovers to appropriately filter the signal, then you run the 'rear' channels to your midrange speakers, and the 'front' channels to your tweets (or vice-versa, whatever)... you bypass the passive xover altogether, so yes, you'd need to run totally new wires, UNLESS the xover is near the amp, that makes it much easier...

Does Bi amping improve the quality a lot?

The only thing bi-amping does is allow for much greater flexibility in tuning the output of the tweeter as related to the midrange. So bi-amping doesnt automatically improve SQ but it gives you a better opportunity to improve it yourself.
