    I apoligize - actually I think what really turned me off to the pics was the coffee table! :) Just looked sloppy. This system itself it actually pretty good. Hopefully, we can kill this thread ASAP - my comments were out of line.

    wow, what the friggin hell did I miss? from what I gather, one took a pot shot at another person's system. generally frowned on.

    interesting use of the 5's as a center. its funny because if I had that equipment, I would have done the same thing., brings me back to when I was using 2 mon 5 bookshelves as a center channel. I had both on top of the TV, never tried the side to side thing. interesting.

    looks like a cool theater system. probably better than anyone on your block at least. not too many people are neorotic enough (like everyone on this board) to take it even further :D

    If I had to dispence advise, as your hobby progresses (if your here hanging with us, it will) the graphic equalizer and super tweets should be phased out over time.
    I was down that road, and moving away from it was the best move I made in the long run. its gonna be hard to do because your not used to it. like I said, I was there.

    Since the tweeters in the R50's are not as good as in the higher priced systems,
    and the crossovers are not built as well either, I am using this other equipment to make the R50 sound even better. Actually they seem to be a pretty good match.
    Maybe Polk could offer a better crossover to us R folks that we could install without voiding the warranty.
