RTi4 Speaker Height
Hey all, new to this forum and just purchased a pair of RTi4's to be used as fronts on my HT system.
My question is whether I need 24" or 31" speaker stands for these babies. They will be sitting on a tiled floor.

Welcome to the boards, thanks for choosing Polk!
The general consensus is to have the tweeters at, or slightly below ear level (at the listening position obviously).

I would add that if they're going to be on a tiled floor, some means of de-coupling them from the floor-- some sort of isolation blocks or rubber "feet" under the stands-- should also be used.

30" stands don't look right with the 4's imo, and they're too high when you're sitting down.
24" stands work fine. -
My Rti4's and Rti6's are sitting on Sanus NF24 (24) Cherry Pillars. Check out their web site.Theatre System 5.1
