    yup. author of Jaws. He actually had a cameo in the movie as the TV Newsman.

    No disrespect intended, but that photo in your link made him look 95, not 65.

    I still remember my whole junior class in highschool took the day off to attend the Jaws premier in a city 70 miles from home. 90% of these kids had never even seen
    the ocean, so you can imagine the belief that this was how the beaches were everywhere. Very impactful novel....and film.
