Wall mount for LSi9

I'm looking to set up a 5.1 speaker system for home theatre in my new house. The room is approximately 15' x 15' with 10' ceiling and the left wall open. I am seriously considering the LSi9 bookshelf speakers for my front speakers. Unfortunately, I need to wallmount all of my speakers due to the location of the fireplace (no where to place the left speaker if floorstanding).

My question is this: Are there any wall mounts that will work for the LSi9 speakers? Would the B-Tech BT77 mounts work with the depth of the LSi9?

Are there any other suggestions for mounting these speakers (eg. custom wall mounted shelves)?

    The bookshelf LSi's have wall mounts built into the power port on the back. I've heard nothing but bad things about wall mounting the 7's or 9's so is there any way you could possibly rearrange things to get them on stands? You might be able to salvage a little sound by using seperate wall mounts but I'm not sure what to recommend since I've never had to wall mount anything.

    The custom shelf idea might work but you have to keep in mind the 9's are pretty deep and need as much breathing room as you can get behind them. I've had my 7's close to the back wall and they sounded horrible. They developed a nasty mid-bass hump and got really boomy so I've since then moved them out from the wall about two feet.

    Forget it. Put those speakers on stands where they belong.

    I agree with Michael. When I had my Lsi9’s they had to be at least two feet from the walls or they sound too boomy. I would not wallmount them.

    You cannot wall mout the LSi9's with the plate on the back of the speaker. (you can LSi7's and FX's) I am confident that the b-tech wall mounts would work fine for the LSi9's. It is up to you to determine if the sound quality is what you want though.
