SRS and 2.3tl's side by side

Ok so I've got my SDA SRS set up on the front (left and right of the t.v.) Now since I can't use my 2.3tl's in the rear due to room constrictions (will use wall-mounted Polks instead), I thought of putting the 2.3's to the left and right of the SRS speakers. 2 amps will be powering the SRS in bi-amp and 2 amps will be powering the 2.3's in bi-amp (there are 2 main outs on the pre-amp for this). Other than the LOUD factor, would there be a problem with sound quality or the SDA effect?

A nice way to compare A/B, but together will be an uneven but loud soundstage at best.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Other than major reflection/cancellation problems, they have a very different timbre. Bottom line, it's not a good idea.Political Correctness'.........defined

I am thinking it's not a good idea, if you think about the SDA "technology" or whatever you want to call it, having a set up with Stereo SDA Stereo SDA on each side "shouldn't work right. But there is always a chance it's the greatest set up ever, who knows, **** try it and let us know.Dodd - Battery Preamp

Agree... side by side you're in for one muttled soundstage... but there is an easy solution: Stack 'em...
Left 2.3 goes upside down atop the right SRS and vice versa.
Ok... maybe its not that easy...
When Jesse and I visited Polk HQ in 2003, Matt himself told of doing this with two-pair of SRS's at his house for a party. He said it was pretty cool except for worrying about inebriated revelers pulling them over on themselves.
But what do we know? Try your side-by-side set up and hear for yourself. We expect a full report.More later,

Ok I'm going to give it a try. Left SRS and left 2.3 to the left and both rights to the right. OH....as soon as I get back the amp I blew up last week.Amplifiers: 1-SAE Mark IV, 4-SAE 2400, 1-SAE 2500, 2-SAE 2600, 1-Buttkicker BKA 1000N w/2-tactile transducers.
