any pros and cons between the two of these?

Are the RT's significantly better, I currently have the R50's as my fronts. RT16's are available to me for a pretty good deal, but the guys already sold the rest of his av equipment so I can't go for a demo listen....any input would be appreciated. thx

    DEFINITELY get the Rt16's.......

As long as the drivers all work, you'll be thrilled with them (and most of the time you won't need a sub).......

I own the RTi'6s as rear speakers and really like them.

I love the R-Series of polk. But I believe the RTi has bettter performance and sound quality. obviously, has a higher price...but if you can, BUY IT. ;)

Guys, he's asking about an older pair of speakers.

The model (if he typed it right) is RT16 (sixteen) and was circa '96.......2 7.5" drivers and a Tri-Lam tweet. The tweet can be a bit bright occasionally, but overall I had them and LOVED them for 8 years before I changed it up a bit.
