mmc5.25 component

First,I would like to thank all of you for the help..
I just purchased a set of mmc5.25 component speakers.(wish I could have fit the mmc6.5 components).
They sound great, even powered by a factory head unit.Bass is good.
I kept the factory speakers in the rear.Still need a small sub & amp.
Does anybody know how much larger the woofer on the mmc6.5 component is compared to the mmc5.25 component woofer?
Would like to install the mmc6.5 woofer..

    Um.....the 6.5" woofer would be 1.25" bigger than the 5.25" woofer.

    For rear speakers Id suggest getting the MMC650 coaxial rather than the components.

    Was thinking of replacing the 5.25 components with the 6.5 components.Would like to put the woofers up to each other to see how much I would have to modify.
    A 6x8 speaker came out.

    If the 5.25's fit, might as well just stick with them. Once you get a sub youll never notice the difference and you probably wouldnt notice too much difference between them without the sub.

    You could fit the 6.5's in there tho but youd have to make a baffle. Its super simple to do tho. Just cut out a piece of 1/4" wood to fit in the 6x8 hole and cut out the hole for your 6.5 and youre set.
