this may be a stupid question, but anyway:
i have the profile ap140 and the rockford 351m, that run off of 4 ga and 8 ga power wire respectively. currently i have 2 power wires running down ths side of my car. my question is, if i run a 4ga power wire to the input of a distribution block, would it be good enough to get sufficient power throungh the 4 and 8ga outputs, or should i run some 1/0ga back to the block?

you should be just fine, unless you're running at the absolute current limit of the 4 ga, in which case 2 ga will do...It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

You can run 4 guage from the battery to the distro block and then 8 guage from the block to the amps and youll be fine.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
