    This is interesting:
"Available in both Single and Dual 4 Ohm Voice Coil configurations. The SR104DVC and SR124DVC are pre-wired for a 2 Ohm load. Both 4 Ohm voce coils are wired in parallel from the factory."

There MUST be SR amps on the way that can handle a constant 2ohm load.

DVCs will be available first, SVCs will follow (not sure of exact date).

No SR amp plans for the near future. A C500.1 has plenty of power for a DVC SR woofer, though.

A 300.2 wouldnt be a bad idea for the SVC either. 500 watts aint nothing to snicker at.

I'm really liking the stats on them. Plus, I've been contemplating getting a high performance single 10" sub for a while, especially one that takes as little airspace as possible! .66ft^3 is about as good as I'll ever find. SOLD!

so, the DVC is preset as a 2ohm, and the svc will be a 4 ohm?

The SVC will be a single 4 ohm VC and the DVC will be dual 4 ohm VC's.

dual 4 ohm vc's that are just prewired for 2ohm. Obviously you can run them in 8 ohm if needed.

With a dual voice coil sub you can also put a separate amp on each voice coil, right?

no, it's that 'the proof is in the pudding', as my quantum prof likes to say... the stats certainly tell a story, but it is by no means complete... the only true test is with your ears...

But a single SVC sub would only be running 4 ohms at which the 300.2 out muscles the 500.1
