Armorall Sucks!

Why do people put Armorall on Speaker Cabinents? I've tried water, Goo Be Gone, more water. Any suggestions on how to get this sticky **** of the contact vinyl on speakers or anything for that matter? I don't want to use too harsh a solvent. Where's my benzene? The FDA took this carcinogen off the market years ago. I used to wash my hands with it in chem lab. It would take everything off without drying the skin. I probably got tumors the size of basketballs in my liver, but my hands are clean.

Recommendations for removing Armorall?
Carl

Carl, you need to check-in with our in-house ArmorAll expert: Sid The Kid!

Sorry, Sid. Can't help it. ;)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Paint thinner (mineral spirits) should remove it and it will not harm any type of finish. I would help it dry quicker by wiping off the excess with a soft cotton cloth until dry.

My father works in the industry, and says Aromor-all is the worst thing you can do to your car (or any type of vinyl). Gives you a shine for a while but ultimately dries everything out.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Thanks Jesse! I thought of mineral spirits. Depending on the purity, that stuff can leave a slightly oily sheen. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Carl, exactly and that's why wiping it until dry is important.
