Who's got one, which GB, what all do you do with it? I'm thinking some mp3s, address book data, pics, maybe passwords, some appointments...Thoughts?

I've got a 30G Photo, not nano. I love it. The new generations are really slim.

A friend of mine has the nano, the thing is miniscule. I like em, but 2-4GB jsut doesn't seem like enough - I'd much rather be able to have my entire MP3 collection (~25GB right now) on me, and as a backup. I know if I had a 4GB nano i'd always want to listen something that wasn't on there :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I have a 2 gig nano. I like it for working out, but wish I had a bigger one for the car/office. I use mine for music/audio books. I think they are coming out with a 1 gig version at $150 too

After far too much time spent researching, I just bought a new MP3 player:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000779T4Y/104-4640799-6238368?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=172282

    B000779T4Y.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

I decided on this one for several reasons:

    1. Doubles as a thumb drive, no software needed, so you can use it for data files as well.

    2. No cord necessary; full-sized USB connector is on the device (the black portion is the player/drive and it slides out of the red area which contains the AAA battery).

    3. Very sensitive FM tuner with 20 presets.

    4. Built in microphone so it can be used for voice dictation.

    5. You can record FM as MP3, albeit mono.

    6. For the price, includes headphones, belt clip, and arm band.

    7. Excellent sound quality with the right headphones.

It's about the size of a Zippo lighter. I only wish there was a 2GB version...

^^ That'd a pretty dad-gum impressive list. I especially like having an FM tuner. I wish the iPods had that.

They have a fm tuner for the ipods now. But it's a add on it's not built in.

Lots of people at school have them but I just don't see the craze behind it. I've tried using my pocket pc with a 1gb card for music but it drives me nuts having to pick and load music for what I think I might want to listen to later. I'd be much happier spending the extra little cash and getting a 30gig video or something than I would be if I had to buy a 2 / 4 gb nano... Sure they're small but meh.
