I once again want to upgrade, going to sell off my bedroom rig completely ,do to nonuse, and Im going to get rid of my amp,and pre in my main rig and move into something newer, and hopefully better.I was originally thinking of Rotel,or Parasound, but I am now thinking about some Odyssey gear.I know somebody in here has a Stratos amp and maybe a preamp too, wanting to hear your thoughts, reviews are good, want to hear some acutal testimony.

I believe Dennis Gardner has the amp and William Waldecker has the pre.

I had the Stratos. Nice pice of gear -- clean, powerful, musical. Very highly rated, so no problems there. It's heavy and HUGE, so you'll need lots of rack space. I moved it from my 2-channel system to HT duty because I got into tube gear. If you buy a used one, make sure it has the upgraded caps.

FWIW, I eventually traded mine for an ATI 1502. It sounded as good as the Stratos, IMO, for half the price on the used market. The Stratos hits harder, though. We're just talkin' preferences here.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
