Those are the MM6 components. They were the predecessor to the new MMC6500. Dollar for dollar those are the best speakers in the world! I had a set and loved them and only changed because the new SR's came out.

Downside is, that doesnt appear to be an authorized dealer so there is no telling what condition those are in.

That seems like a very good deal, but them not being authorized would make me a little nervous.

Best advice is to save up an extra $111, go to Sounddomain.com and buy the new MMC6500's. Youll like them just as much and probably better as they have a better crossover and arent refurbed pieces of crap like those from woofersect might be. Sounddomain is fully authorized so you get brand spankin' new products AND full backing and warranty support from Polk.

I still would be cautious about buying from an unauthorized dealer.

I have bought about 1K worth of stuff from millionbuy. I bought a set of infinity components, Polk components and some stuff for the house. So far they have been perfect. Nothing wrong with them at all. Sometimes you can find the Polk's on ebay for around 150 but I personally would rather have them new for the extra 20 bucks.

I do like the MM6 better than the MMC6500 but I had a set of MM6's for over a year so I was able to tweak and dial them in til they sounded great. Im sure I could do the same with the MMC6500's.

And yes, one of my MM6 mids now holds a place of honor on my trophy shelf with not only Matt Polk's signature but also Polk Pauls and Jim's.
