Dilemma

edited February 2006 in 2 Channel Audio
So...my 2 channel race has gotten me to get ready for two rigs: an SDA rig and a non SDA rig. I've gone crazy buying stuff in the last couple of weeks, and spent a lot more than I thought I would :( , but anyway, now I need to decide how to pair things.

Here's what I've got:

SDA 1.2 TL's paired with the JBL Urei
Monitor Audio S8's paired with the Sixpacs

and,

Tubed Pre's: Dodd MLP and Dared SL2000
Souces: Jolida JD-100 and Cambridge Audio D500 SE

In the last few days I've been listening to the Jolida JD-110 through the MLP and JBL Urei, with the Monitor's, and it sounds just amazingly good. I cannot wait to hook up the Sixpacs that are coming tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the Jolida-MLP-Sixpac will be a nice combo with the Monitors. It is making me re-think my original idea of using the Jolida/MLP/JBL with the SDA's
So what do you guys think? How would you hook up things? I guess I will be doing a lot of testing changing things around, but thought I'd ask what you guys would do to start.

The Dodd, the Jolida, and the Sixpacks are your reference rig, choose which speakers you want to run on them, period.

    Cheers,
    Russ

I agree these 3 components would be the right match; the only "problem" is that I don't think I can use them with the SDA's...common ground?
Edit: Yes..I could use the A1 cable :)

Sorry Joe...I don't think they'll be going anywhere for now..plus..don't you have enough SDA's??? :)

To all others, thanks; yes, mixing and matching will be fun.

I had a dream last night, for real, that I under-cut you on the sixpacs. I went and bought them out from under you, and I didn't feel the least bit bad about it.

    Not kidding, hand to God.
