Many hi-fi manufacturers, like Polk Audio, modified their company logos over the years. But to me, Pioneer's modification of its logo was the most shocking. It went from the original....

to this new version....

That is so you can tell the good stuff from the junk easier…

I think Sony and a few others need to do this as well.

(Disclaimer: This does not mean I think all of their new stuff is junk, just a majority.)

    I dislike each one equally...

I think they both suck in other words.

Their ELITE logo is awesome, it has that Sinister stare right in the center of their components. Love that logo, that series of Pioneer is pretty good if you ask me...

Their Premeir for CA is good as well, that symbol is similar to the older style logo above.

The new logo looks like something I'd put on cheaper goods that I'd intend to sell by the containerload fast fast fast...

    they're both terrible.

The original has 'arcade game' written all over it.
The new one looks like something off a kitchen appliance.

I prefer the new one. When I see the old one, I just somehow subconsciously associate it with old electronic junk piled in a corner. Not at all saying the old stuff is junk. That's just what I think of everytime I see that logo.

The new one isn't good either, though.
